Karachi: The Russian Culture Centre in Karachi celebrated Pakistan’s 72nd Independence Day with great fervor, marking a significant milestone in the strengthening ties between Russia and Pakistan.


The event, attended by over 200 students from various schools, was a testament to the growing friendship between the two nations.


The Russian Culture Centre’s initiative to celebrate Pakistan’s Independence Day demonstrates Russia’s desire to foster a strong and lasting relationship with Pakistan.


The programme began with a flag-hoisting ceremony, followed by a series of performances, including tableaus, drama, singing, and speeches.


The students showcased their talent and enthusiasm, leaving the audience in awe.The highlight of the event was a mesmerizing performance by an international flute singer, who left the audience spellbound with his soulful melodies.The program was posted by Mrs Fariha Aqib and Asif Aliyas To make the occasion even more special, gift prizes, hampers, flags, and badges were distributed among the participants. The students were thrilled to receive these tokens of appreciation, and their faces lit up with joy.


The event was attended by parents who enjoyed the performances and appreciated the efforts of the Russian Culture Centre in promoting cultural exchange and fostering patriotism among the youth.The evening concluded with a dinner and a cake-cutting ceremony, marking the end of a memorable celebration.


The entire event was held under the supervision of Director Ruslan M Prokhorov of the Russian Friendship house who ensured that everything ran smoothly and according to plan.
