Karachi (Staff Reporter) Rotary Club of Karachi Environment organized a new charter Club Ceremony at Friar Hall Karachi.District Governor of Rotary International 3271 Muhammad Hanif Khan was the chief Guest of the Ceremony.
While the guests of honor on this occasion were Consul General Oman Sami Al Khanjri, Commercial Attaché Iran Pakistan Mohammad Murad Nemati, DPDG Akhtar Alvi, President of RCK Environment Abdullah Rafi, Club President Elect, President KHA Business and International Relations,CEO Kafeel Hussain Group and Renowned architect Kafeel Hussain, Club Secretary Erum Khan, Mohammad Amir, Gulfam, Hayat Khan, Ahmed Javed, Major Waseem Ahmed, Ahmed Rafi, Miss Humaira, Miss Sania, Miss Shama, Miss Fauzia and other officials were also present.
Speaking at the ceremony, the chief guest, District Governor of Rotary International 3271 Muhammad Hanif Khan said Efforts are being made to solve people’s problems through social services.
He said that the Rotarians are considering and implementing new and modern welfare projects to provide basic facilities of life, including housing, employment, clean drinking water, health and education, besides making women and youth skilled. Special attention is being given to make Pakistan prosperous.
On this occasion, the President of the RC Environment Abdullah Rafi said that Rotary International has a prominent position in social services. He said that the experience and guidance of senior Rotarians helps in starting new projects of social service while RCK Enviromint is trying to promote tree plantation in the country in particular. It helps in running a campaign which not only can control the environmental pollution but also other people can also play their important role in making the country green by joining this national duty.
On this occasion, President of RCK Environment Abdullah Rafi, Club President Elect, President KHA Business and International Relations,CEO Kafeel Hussain Group and Renowned architect Kafeel Hussain welcome to all the newly elected officials of RCK Environment.
He said that Rotary International is paying special attention to education, health, environment and other important areas, while measures to deal with environmental pollution are also part of the important goals of Rotary. There is a threat that our youth should play their part to tackle. He said that all the Rotarians are passionate about serving humanity and they are active in implementing social and welfare projects for the poor people of rural and backward areas through modern ideas so that the poor people can also get the basic facilities of life.
Because service to humanity is the motto of Rotary International, Kafeel Hussain said that Pakistan has excellent fraternal relations with Iran, Oman and other countries, which will not only stabilize the economy of the country but also help to get rid of the global warming problems facing the world.
