KARACHI – Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at Aga Khan University, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of karachi Sunset Millennium District 3271 Pakistan will conduct an eye camp on October 29th at Karabai Karimji School in Layari. The primary objective of this camp is to raise awareness among school students and their families in the Layari community about the importance of maintaining good eye health and the significance of regular eye examinations. We will aim to educate them about the potential risks that can affect their vision and even lead to blindness.
Our dedicated team will go beyond just screening vision; we will also conduct fundoscopy to examine the back of the eye, using advanced equipment such as direct and indirect ophthalmoscopes. We will check eye pressure with the assistance of an open, and if further advanced treatment is required, individuals will be referred to Aga Khan Hospital for Women and Children in Kharadar.
