Karachi: Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi, Organized the music-filled session “Ghazal Ka Safar” was held on the first day of the “18th Aalmi Urdu Conference 2025 – Jashan-e-Pakistan”, where renowned singers Muhammad Ali and Muhammad Zubair mesmerized the audience with their outstanding and heart-captivating performances Held at Jaun Elia Lawn, the session featured beautifully rendered classical and modern ghazals. Muhammad Ali, through his distinctive voice and mature vocal expression, highlighted the traditional beauty of the Urdu ghazal, while Muhammad Zubair, with the delicacy of notes and melodious rhythm, made the journey of the ghazal truly memorable. The audience responded with enthusiastic applause to the performances of both artists.
A large number of music lovers were present on the occasion, which thoroughly enjoyed the poetic subtlety of the ghazal blended with music.
The first day of the Aalmi Urdu Conference concluded with a “Sindhi Mushaira”, presided over by Adil Soomro. Poets who presented their poetry included Ahmed Solangi, Amjad Hussain Shah, Rubina Abro, Rukhsana Preet, Sabhiyan Sangi, Noor Shah Rizvi, Zahid Sheikh, Amar Peerzado, Nasir Soomro, Seema Abbasi, Amar Iqbal, Ayub Khoso, Rehmat Peerzado, Fawad Kalro, Rohal Kalro, Ali Sajan Raho, Masroor Peerzado, Haji Saand, Aziz Gul, and Waseem Soomro. The duties of moderation for the mushaira were performed by Bakhshan Mehranvi.
