Karachi, Pakistan : Recently there has been a rise in road crimes in the city and therefore, it means there is something that needs to be investigated by the Forces that how are the people indulged in such crimes have an easy access to weapon and carrying them in broad day light. Ongoing citizens are being targeted by these thugs and even being killed for not giving out there personal belongings, like the recent incident of Nihal who fought bravely against thugs died while defending his belongings and his loved ones. Furthermore, over 90,000 armed robbery cases were reported in 2023, in karachi following the seven months of 2024 having atleast 44,000 robberies that were reported. This proves that Karachi is the most dangerous city to live and has no life value. The High crime doesn’t seem to have much effect on the arm forces as no proper protection measures are being taken nor these mafias are being taken down. Many incidents that occur on the road have not even been reported due to the fact that people confidence in the system and it’s security measures have been shattered that their reports will go in vain and will have no positive outcome, and if this continues the mere question that will arise in every Karachi citizen would be (Should i start carrying a weapon for my own safety? ) Anyways, a strict action has to be taken soon enough inorder to control these crimes and make this city a safer place to live in for a better future.
