AoA to all distinguish participants and dear viewers of this valuable webinar about the grate issue of Palestine. In the beginning, I’d like to say taqabbal Allah for all trying and fasting in Holy Ramazan and congratulate you Qods day and even Eid ul Fitr.
Actually it is not possible to talk about Qods and Palestine, without reminding the name of Imam Khomeini (RA) the great man of the contemporary history. As you know, Imam Khomeimi set the palestine issue as the most important issue of Islam world and announced the last friday of the auspicious month of Ramazan, as the World Qods Day.
I believe Imam Khomeini (RA) had two purposes to remark and bold of Palestine and Qods issue and name:
1st. To unity of all Muslim ummah. Because there is no any difference in Muslim countries about Palestine crisis and Imam Khomeini wants to gather all Muslim countries to under of this umbrella. Why? Because this issue was a very good pattern for some countries which was dominated by the imperialism powers during 20 century. Palestine and Qods was very good learning for resistance again occupation and domination.
2nd. purpose is mobilizing the world nations to support the liberation movement of the oppressed people of Palestine.
This year the Qods Day has attained much more importance than ever before, because it’s synchronized with the some regional developments:
1st. Terroristy action of the US army and assassinate of Gen. Soleimani who was the symbol of resistance and very influenced to the people of Palestine, Lebonan, Syria, Iraq etc.
2nd. The unveiling of the American-Zionist plan it called “ Deal of the Century“ . With the disclosure of the dimensions of the shameful of “ Deal of the Century“, it is no secret to anyone that the issue of Palestine is not the issue for Palestinians only. If the Islamic Ummah remains silent on the Palestinian issue and the Deal of the century, in the near future the hardships and sufferings will impose to all the Muslims.
3rd. There was some news about some countries in the region that they have desire to normalize relation with Israeli regime. Unfortunately some Muslim countries conceive that through normalization of ties and relation with the Zionist regime they with attain security and political stability, but historical experience proves that this regime and their true supporter are only looking for earning a maximum benefit and exploiting these countries.
In the end, I believe by the unity of Muslim Ummah, it is possible to resolve all of suffering and problems in all over the world, against oppressed Muslims. Ensha Allah.
