Islamabad: Punjab Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb has announced new measures to reduce electricity costs for consumers in Punjab and Islamabad. At a press conference in Lahore, Aurangzeb stated that the government will cut electricity bills by fourteen rupees per unit.
This relief is part of a broader effort supported by a 45 billion rupee allocation from the provincial budget. The goal is to help ease the financial strain on residents during these challenging times.
Aurangzeb also introduced new initiatives aimed at improving daily life, including the “Apna Ghar Apni Chhat” housing project and the “Garment City Plug and Play” development. These projects are designed to enhance living conditions and provide more affordable solutions for the people of Punjab.
