(February 14-2023) President of Pakistan Economy Watch Dr. Murtaza Mughal on Tuesday said people should not pin hopes on tried and tested politicians.
These politicians will not serve the masses and will do what they have been doing in the past, he said.
Those who took from IMF loans twenty-four times and hundreds of times from other countries and organizations have failed to stabilize the economy but they have successfully stabilized themselves, he added.
Dr. Murtaza Mughal said that tried and tested politicians will continue to do the same in the future without any consideration for the country and masses.
Now the public should give the opportunity to the new people to serve as giving another chance to those who have been continuously tried for decades amounts to damaging the country and coming generations.
These politicians consider their party more important than the country and the nation, while their real goal is building properties abroad and setting up profitable businesses.
He said that corrupt and self-interested politicians have done nothing but create problems for the country and the nation.
Dr. Murtaza Mughal said this while talking to the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek Shadbad Dr. Hanif Mughal who is the National Assembly’s candidate from NA-52 of the federal capital.
Dr. Mughal said that the purpose of Pakistan Tehreek Shad Bad is to provide health, education, employment, and justice to the people. By fulfilling these objectives, Pakistan can become a real welfare state.
He said that the election symbol of Pakistan Tehreek Shadbad is a knife and with this knife, we will cut corruption, nepotism, and traditional chains.
Instead of giving tickets to experienced people, this party should give tickets to new and sincere people, which is the need of the hour.
Dr. Mughal, who is also the chief advisor of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Shad, said that Dr. Hanif Mughal is a highly educated and patriotic person who has started his election campaign from Rawat.
