Global Peace Ambassador Imam Allama Ahsan Siddiqui
KARACHI —- The Ambassador at Large for Global Peace, Interfaith Harmony and Human Rights Imam Allama Muhammad Ahsan Siddiqui, Chairman of Interfaith Commission for Peace & Harmony (ICPH) emphasized the achievement of socioeconomic progress by following the examples set by the first Muslim community under the leadership of the Noble Prophet, peace be upon him and his progeny.
The theme of the Seerat conference Prophetic Teachings: Peace, Co-existence and Reconciliation held in local hotel Karachi , In his address on Ambassador Allama Ahsan Siddiqui urged to reflect on the life of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his family, describing the Prophet as “one of the greatest blessings” bestowed upon the world by the Almighty.
On the Seerat (biography) of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), he said that it was a concept of uniting human beings, given the scale of leadership that a leader unites human beings, does not divide by spreading hatred, does not say that Hindus are the greatest nation and the rest are inferior: justice is for all human beings. Global Peace Ambassador Imam Allama Ahsan Siddiqui said that the message the Prophet (PBUH) brought was the greatest that human beings are united and that he is the mercy of the worlds, then people became leaders after watching him [the Prophet (PBUH)], if you study after 623 AD in such a short time so great leaders were not born, but those who saw them became leaders.
This Rabi-ul-Awal occasion is an opportunity to spread Islamic values and principles, such as strengthening our bonds with kin, promoting , religious freedom, justice, love , interfaith harmony and compassion, as well as helping, being kind to one another protecting minorities rights and others.
We celebrate Rabi-ul-Awal, resort to firecrackers and fireworks, celebrate happiness but do we try to follow His life or not, it is like we keep the Holy Quran in the house and everyone is picking it up with great literature but not reading what is written inside it.
The Global Peace Ambassador and Human Rights also encouraged every individual to nurture Islam in their hearts by practicing its values and principles taught by the Holy Prophet, peace be upon him and his progeny.
ICPH announces country wide Milad-Un-Nabi Conferences under the slogan Prophet Muhammad ?: The Mercy to Mankind. The conferences would be conducted in Universities in the Rawalpindi, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta, Multan etc.
