Resolving Balochistan’s issues is the central focus of our politics, says Provincial Convener Syed Aman Shah
A political meeting was held on the occasion of a dinner hosted by Syed Aman Shah in Islamabad in honor of the central leadership of the Awaam Pakistan Party.
Karachi/Islamabad/ Quetta : Provincial Convener Awaam Pakistan Balochistan, Syed Aman Shah, hosted a dignified dinner in Islamabad in honor of former Prime Minister of Pakistan and Convener Awaam Pakistan, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.
During the dinner, a detailed discussion was held on the prevailing national and political situation. The participants deliberated on the political and economic challenges facing the country, democratic stability, supremacy of the Constitution and rule of law, and solutions to public issues.
The meeting was attended by former Federal Minister and Spokesperson Awaam Pakistan Dr. Zafar Mirza, National Organizing Member Dr. Azhar Aslam, Provincial Secretary General Balochistan Prof. Haleem Sadiq, Ms. Fatima Atif, senior representatives of the media and a large number of senior party members.
On the occasion, former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that Pakistan urgently needs serious, principled and people-centric politics to steer the country out of its ongoing crises. He described Awaam Pakistan as a positive, constructive, and future-oriented political platform.
Addressing the meeting, Provincial Convener Awaam Pakistan Balochistan Syed Aman Shah said that Balochistan has long suffered from deprivation and neglect, and the time has come to prioritize the resolution of public issues. He emphasized that Awam Pakistan will continue to play a strong role in representing the aspirations of the people, promoting democratic values, upholding the Constitution and rule of law, and advancing people-friendly policies across Balochistan and the entire country.
Former Federal Minister and Spokesperson Awaam Pakistan Dr. Zafar Mirza, in his remarks, stated that the solution to the country’s economic, health and governance crises lies in strong institutions, transparent systems, and continuity of policies. He added that Awam Pakistan believes in public service, merit, and accountability, which are essential for putting Pakistan on the path of sustainable development.
National Organizing Member Awaam Pakistan Dr. Azhar Aslam said that strengthening party organization, training workers and enhancing public outreach campaigns are the need of the hour. He noted that Awaam Pakistan is emerging as a disciplined, active, and people-friendly political force, steadily strengthening its roots across the country.
Expressing her views, Ms. Fatima Atif emphasized that effective representation of women, youth and the middle class in national politics is a critical need of the time. She stated that Awaam Pakistan is a political platform capable of taking all segments of society along and has become a symbol of hope for real change.
