The head of Britain’s intelligence agency says that Russia has not succeeded in the information and cyberspace war against Ukraine.
The head of GCHQ wrote a column in The Economist, saying that both countries are using their cyber capabilities in the Ukraine war.
Russian President Putin is losing the information war between Ukraine and the West, the intelligence chief said.
He said that although this is a matter of happiness, we should not underestimate the disinformation campaign launched by Russia in the rest of the world.
A British intelligence official said that just as the plan to take over Ukraine failed, Russia’s plans for online warfare are also facing failure.
He said spreading disinformation online was part of Russia’s strategy, but GCHQ had exposed it and had already issued a warning.
He added that Britain’s National Cyber ??Force could take part in a cyber war against Russia.
