Prime Minister Imran Khan made a big decision regarding the alliance of angry members of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the opposition.
The Prime Minister has decided to consult the senior party leadership again regarding the alignment of angry members of PTI and opposition parties.
Imran Khan summoned senior party leaders to the Prime Minister’s House tomorrow. Consultations will be held in the context of the activities of angry party leaders in Punjab.
The strategy of thwarting the possible no-confidence motion of the opposition will be considered. Tomorrow’s meeting of the federal cabinet has already been postponed.
It may be recalled that on the issue of no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan, the Leader of the Opposition sat head to head in Zardari House.
A no-confidence motion against the Prime Minister was taken up by three elders at Zardari House. Different legal and constitutional options were considered regarding the no-confidence motion against Imran Khan.
Yousuf Raza Gilani, Khurshid Shah and Murad Ali Shah from PPP were present in the meeting.
Ayaz Sadiq and Saad Rafique from PML-N were present in the meeting.
Legal experts from all three parties briefed the opposition leaders on the legal implications of the no-confidence motion against the Prime Minister.
Members of the government who supported the no-confidence motion were reviewed.
On the other hand, Jahangir Tareen formed a five-member committee to look into the affairs of the group.
The committee consists of Ajmal Cheema, Noman Langarial, Saeed Akbar Nawani, Abdul Hai Dasti and Faisal Jabwana.
The committee will look into all the political affairs of the group and report to Jahangir Tareen, the final decision will be made by Jahangir Tareen.
