The inside story of the meeting of the leaders of Pakistan Muslim League-Q, the ruling coalition of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), the largest opposition party, came to light.
The PML-N delegation met the PML-Q leadership at the residence of the Chaudhry brothers in Islamabad and discussed other important issues including mutual political cooperation.
According to PML-N sources, the opposition party made a formal offer to the PML-Q leadership to be given the chief ministership of Punjab.
According to sources, the PML-Q demanded two days to respond to the PML-N offer.
According to PML-N sources, the two parties also agreed to continue contact during this time.
Earlier, it was reported that former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had promised to give the PML-Q the chief ministership.
Last night, in his address to the anti Inflation March, Rana Tanveer Hussain had said that many of our issues with the Chaudhry brothers were under consideration.
He further said that a decision would be taken by the Chaudhry brothers in a day or two, meanwhile, the MQM would also take a decision.
