Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif will address a pre-budget conference organized by the Ministry of Business, Information Technology and Agriculture on Monday.
According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Finance on Sunday, Pakistan is currently facing a number of economic challenges such as rising inflation, huge external deficit, declining exchange rate and foreign exchange reserves and growing uncertainty.
In addition, the current global economic scenario is also raising concerns for the country’s economic scenario. The present government has inherited an economy based on the growing imbalance of the overall economy which has brought Pakistan to the brink of financial ruin. To overcome this, the present government has taken various urgent measures to strengthen the economy, stabilize prices.
