Pakistan International Airlines has temporarily suspended its flight operation to Afghanistan due to unavailability of necessary facilities at Kabul airport.
This was stated by PIA spokesperson Abdullah Hafeez while exclusively talking to News and Current Affairs Channel of Radio Pakistan today. He said flight operation will remain closed for a couple of days.
The Spokesperson said we have talked to Afghan Civil Aviation Authority for restoration of all required facilities at Kabul airport as soon as possible so that PIA could resume its flight operation.He said PIA has evacuated fifteen hundred people in five flights so far.
The Spokesperson said people who were evacuated from Kabul include journalists, UN officials and Pakistanis.
