Petrol 24.3 and diesel 59.16 more expensive

Prices of petroleum products have been raised again across the country. Petrol will cost Rs 24 and diesel Rs 59 per liter. The new prices will apply from 12 midnight.

Speaking at a press conference in Islamabad, Muftah Ismail said that the price of petrol has been increased by Rs 24.3 while diesel has been increased by Rs 59.16, light diesel oil by Rs 39.16 and kerosene by Rs 39.49 per liter.

After 12 noon tonight, the new price of petrol will be Rs 233.89, diesel Rs 263.31, kerosene Rs 211.43 and light diesel oil Rs 207.47.

Announcing the hike in prices of petroleum products, the finance minister said that difficult decisions would be taken even before. The government will not suffer any loss in this regard after the increase in prices.

He said that Imran Khan had deliberately reduced petrol prices, adding that prices of oil, wheat and edible oil had increased in the world market.

Muftah Ismail said that today the price of petrol is 120 120 per barrel, in the United Arab Emirates the price of petrol is more than ???? 1 per liter while the price of diesel is even higher.
