KARACHI: Qawwali Night will be staged on May 24 under Saim Event Manage in collaboration with PMG at Lal Mirchi Dera Dubai in which famous Qawal Ustad Asif Ali Santo Khan, M Naveed, Soumia Khan, and others will present performances. The anchor would be Nizakat Ali Khan.
Talking in this regard, Ustad Asif Ali Santo Khan said that Pakistani Qawals have their unique identity all over the world. Ustad Ghulam Farid Ali, Aziz Mian, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, and other well-known Qawwals have made the country famous at the international level, thanks to their arts. Qawals are loved even in today’s modern and fast-paced era.
Somia Khan said that Qawali is loved all over the world including Pakistan. They are working hard for the development and promotion of Qawali. She further said that there is immense talent for Qawali in the country. They are playing an active role in guiding new Qawwals.
Apart from this, Indian and Pakistani singers and dancers will also perform live under the desi entertainment.
