KARACHI – Pakistani musician Amoon Dass also known as Moon has released his latest song “What Words Mean” featuring Haroon Simon, a Dubai-based multi-instrumentalist musician.
This fusion song has been produced in collaboration with an initiative called ‘Across Borders’, which Amoon Dass uses to work in collaboration with musicians from across the world.
Haroon played Sarangi, Violin, and Clarinet while Amoon Dass played classical guitars, added an electronic bass line and some synths with electronic tabla and drums to create a soothing aura. The inspiration came from Amoon and Haroon’s mutual lives and their past experiences.
This track enlightens the perception of their minds as human beings as to what they think of other people’s words and what these words actually mean.
