ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Squash Federation’s (PSF) on Monday during a press conference claims that Pakistan is all set to host two international Squash tournaments this month.
The $30,000 men’s international squash tournament will start from 10th and ends on 30th September while $10,000 women’s tournament will start from 10th and ends on 14th September respectively.
Including Hong Kong’s Leo Au, eighteen international players will also take part in the tournament. Male and female players from the leading countries will be competing in the event.
The five-day tournament’s semi-final has been scheduled on 13th and final on 14th September.
Pakistan National Squash Academy (PNSA) Director Air Commodore (R) Aftab Ahmed Qureshi said that he is not satisfied with the bronze medal won by the Squash team in Asian games as he expected the team to at least play the final.
