Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reiterated Pakistan’s strong commitment to its relationship with the United States, highlighting the importance of bilateral cooperation in various sectors. Responding to a letter from US President Joe Biden, the Prime Minister emphasized the countries’ joint efforts in energy, climate change, agriculture, health, and education.
PM Shehbaz expressed appreciation for the cooperation between the two nations in the energy sector and the Green Alliance framework. He expressed Pakistan’s desire to collaborate with the US to achieve shared goals of global peace, stability, and regional progress and prosperity.
President Biden’s letter, the first diplomatic outreach to the PM Shehbaz-led government, signaled a positive turn in bilateral relations. Biden pledged continued support for Pakistan’s government, emphasizing the enduring partnership between the two countries in ensuring global and regional security.
