KARACHI, December 15, 2024 – Mr. Muhammad Mateen, President of the Pakistan Padel Federation (PPF), announced today the launch of a new Ranking and Point System, aligned with the International Padel Federation’s (FIP) guidelines. This initiative aims to standardize player rankings and qualify teams for international competitions, including the World Cup and Asian Championship. # Key Highlights
The new ranking system will be implemented across six (06) levels of padel events, from national to domestic level.
Players will be eligible for international representation based on their rankings, effective January 1, 2025.
The system will facilitate qualification for the World Cup and Asian Championship. Registration for national and international level padel players’ licenses will open in January 2025.
New Ranking & Points System: The new ranking system will award points as follows: National:
Winner: 500 points, Finalist: 400 points, Semi-finalists: 300 points, Quarter-finalist: 200 points
R-16: 100 points, Participation: 50 points, PPF Tours & League: Winner: 300 points, Finalist: 250 points
Semi-finalists: 200 points, Quarter-finalist: 150 points, R-16: 50 points, Participation: 30 points
Provincial level: Winner: 250 points, Finalist: 200 points, Semi-finalists: 150 points, Quarter-finalist: 100 points, R-16: 30 points, Participation: 15 points, Local & Club leagues: Winner: 100 points, Finalist: 80 points, Semi-finalists: 60 points, Quarter-finalist: 40 points, R-16: 20 points, Participation: 10 points

The Pakistan Padel Federation is the governing body for padel sports in Pakistan, affiliated with the FIP International Padel Federation and Padel-Asia. The PPF is dedicated to promoting and developing the sport nationwide.
