Karachi: The Pakistan Interior Furniture Expo 2024 kicked off with a vibrant start at the Expo Centre Karachi, drawing in a significant crowd on its inaugural day. Senior Leader of MQM (P), Dr. Farooq Sattar, highlighted the pivotal role such exhibitions play in bolstering economic activities within the nation.
With thousands flocking to witness the grand display of furniture, including bed sets, dining sets, hand-made carpets, mattresses, massage chairs, and more, the event showcased the best of Pakistan’s furniture industry under one roof. Notably, the expo featured over 100 brands offering up to 40% discounts on their exquisite pieces.


Expressing his delight at the frequency of such exhibitions in Karachi, Dr. Farooq Sattar emphasized the city’s significance as the economic backbone of the country. He lauded the inclusion of locally produced furniture, renowned globally for its craftsmanship, and commended the organizers for their efforts in restoring the city’s splendor.
Accompanied by Adnan Afzal, CEO of Pakistan Interior Furniture Expo 2024, Dr. Farooq Sattar toured various stalls and halls, marveling at the diverse range of furniture on display. He underscored the importance of patronizing the local furniture industry, expressing optimism about its potential to generate socio-economic benefits with government support.
Director of the expo, Ms. Madeeha Adnan, echoed Dr. Farooq Sattar’s sentiments, emphasizing the need for government subsidies and the official recognition of the furniture sector as an industry. She stressed the sector’s capacity to provide employment opportunities and urged authorities to facilitate its growth by removing regulatory hurdles.
