Esther Perez Rees, IMF representative in Pakistan, says that Pakistan has fulfilled the preconditions for the 7th and 8th Joint Review by increasing the PDL on July 31.
This has been said in a statement issued by the representative of the IMF in Pakistan, Esther Pires Rees.
He also said that if adequate funding is assured to Pakistan, the IMF Executive Board will meet in this regard at the end of August.
It should be noted that the IMF meeting is subject to assurances of funding of 4 billion dollars from Pakistan’s friendly countries.
