Karachi: The Pakistan Business Group (PBGO) is expanding its reach with the establishment of the Dubai Chapter, announced by PBGO Founder President Faraz-ur-Rehman. In a strategic move to strengthen business ties and promote cooperation between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Faraz-ur-Rehman appointed Rana Tauqir as the Chairperson and Yusuf Viceroy as the Vice Chairperson of the newly formed Dubai Chapter.
The inaugural meeting of the Dubai Chapter took place in the vibrant city of Dubai, with Rana Tauqir presiding over the proceedings. Other notable participants included Vice Chairperson Yusuf Viceroy, as well as esteemed members Sultan Mehmood, Tauqir Ali Khan, Nadia Siddiqui, Rabia Sheikh, Muhammad Usman Moin, and Anas Umarson.
During this momentous occasion, Chairperson Rana Tauqir articulated the primary objectives behind the creation of the Dubai Chapter. She emphasized the vision of PBGO’s founding president, Faraz-ur-Rehman, which is to foster a strong network of members within the UAE while actively increasing membership from both Pakistan and the UAE. The goal is to facilitate and enhance bilateral trade between the two nations.
Rana Tauqir underscored PBGO’s overarching mission to promote individual and collective success, urging members to seek business opportunities through collaboration and mutual consultation. She further disclosed that the inaugural meeting tackled crucial issues, notably the development of a job portal platform. This initiative aims to connect talented Pakistani youth with employment opportunities in the UAE, helping to bridge the gap between job seekers and employers.
In addition to the job portal, Chairperson Rana Tauqir announced the establishment of an online advisory council to provide guidance and support to the Pakistani community residing in the UAE. Furthermore, the meeting saw discussions on PBGO’s expansion plans, with the organization aiming to establish offices in other key Arab countries, including Qatar and Abu Dhabi. Plans are also underway to create additional chapters in these regions, further solidifying PBGO’s footprint in the Middle East.
