The Pakistan Romania Business Council (PRBC) and the Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WCCI) Lahore Division have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to promote economic cooperation and trade relations between the two nations.
The MOU was signed on April 12, 2025, by Sohail Shamim Firpo, Chairman PRBC, and Falahat Imran, President WCCI. This collaboration is expected to further boost trade ties between Pakistan and Romania.
“This partnership marks a significant milestone in our efforts to empower women entrepreneurs and promote bilateral trade between Pakistan and Romania,” said Atif Farooqi, Advisor & COO, Pakistan Romania Business Council. “We look forward to working with WCCI Lahore Division to unlock new opportunities for businesses in both countries.”
Ahmad Ikram Lone, President PRBC North Chapter, added, “This collaboration will open new avenues for women-led businesses in Pakistan to access European markets through Romania.
