Karachi, October 6, 2025: A significant webinar between the Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA) and Pakistani pharmaceutical companies was successfully held to enhance bilateral cooperation in the pharmaceutical sector. The session was jointly organized by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) and the Embassy of Pakistan in Amman, Jordan, with the objective of improving regulatory understanding, streamlining registration processes, and promoting pharmaceutical exports from Pakistan to Jordan.
More than 30 leading Pakistani pharmaceutical firms participated in the virtual session. Representatives from JFDA delivered an in-depth presentation on Jordan’s regulatory framework, including the product registration process, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) certification requirements, and import documentation procedures.
The interactive session also addressed questions from Pakistani companies regarding dossier evaluation timelines, mutual recognition possibilities, and technical cooperation opportunities between the two regulatory authorities.
Participants appreciated the initiative, noting that such engagements play a crucial role in fostering regulatory linkages and trade facilitation between Pakistan and Jordan. Both sides expressed their commitment to continuing collaborative efforts aimed at strengthening pharmaceutical trade and ensuring smooth access to regional markets.
This webinar marks a vital step in expanding Pakistan’s pharmaceutical export footprint and reinforcing partnerships with key international regulatory bodies.
