Oltranza Festival, renowned for its commitment to breaking down barriers, is set to return to Turin from April 6 to September 15. The festival promises an array of art, music, and inclusive events, including concerts, talks, readings, exhibitions, and theatrical performances.
The festival kicks off on April 6 with the “Listen To Me” Award, a visual music contest for singer-songwriters. The event, organized by Soundset APS and Indiependence in collaboration with LISten Aps, aims to promote inclusive music. The evening’s guest of honor is Il Solito Dandy, a finalist from X-Factor 2023, known for his retro style and timeless charm.
Oltranza Festival’s program extends until September 15, featuring a diverse lineup of events. Highlights include concerts translated into Italian Sign Language (LIS), panel discussions on inclusion, readings, book presentations, exhibitions, and tactile art experiences. The festival aims to entertain, sensitize, and unite people through art and culture.
One of the festival’s main goals is to ensure accessibility for all. To achieve this, the festival has taken significant steps, such as making the space under the stage at Magazzino Sul Po accessible. Additionally, the festival’s proceeds will contribute to funding a scholarship in Disability Management & Inclusive Thinking at the SAA in Turin, as well as efforts to eliminate architectural barriers in cultural spaces.
Don’t miss the opportunity to experience the Oltranza Festival, where art, music, and inclusivity come together to create a truly inspiring cultural celebration.
