Sindh is the lucky province that gave women rights and opportunities; this was said by member of provincial assembly, Sindh from Pakistan Peoples Party, Sadia Javed while addressing the award distribution ceremony at ten-day electronic media workshop arranged by Women Media Center, Pakistan in collaboration with National Endowment for Democracy.
She said that women in Sindh assembly are active as Shaheed Benazir Bhutto paved a way when she herself led the men of this country.
During her address she stated that PPP passed the Students Bill in the Assembly so that the new generation could enter politics.
While applauding the leadership of PPP, Sadia said that women in other political parties have no power to make decisions.
PPP’s MPA also praised WMC for their untiring resolve to educate the next generation of women journalist in Pakistan.
The workshop titled ” “Freedom of Expression: Digitalization and Communication” was attended by students from various universities of city. The workshop started from March 08 and ended on March 17.
