Islamabad: The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has increased the price of electricity by Rs 3.9 per unit and also issued a notification of this increase.

According to a notification issued by the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority, electricity has become more expensive due to the December fuel price adjustment.

In the NEPRA Notification, the power distribution companies would receive the increase in their February bills. In the NEPRA Notification, the increase in the price of electricity would not apply to consumers of K-Electric.
