Karachi, April 2, 2026: The National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) has launched its WhatsApp Banking service, offering customers seamless access to essential banking functions through one of Pakistan’s most popular messaging platforms.

The new service allows users to check balances, view mini statements, request full account statements, and explore additional banking options directly via WhatsApp. Customers can register by calling 111-NBP-NBP (+92 111-627-627).
Speaking at the launch, NBP President Rehmat Ali Hasni said, “We are committed to making banking more accessible, secure, and customer-friendly. WhatsApp Banking reflects our vision to embrace digital innovation and bring banking services closer to millions of Pakistanis.”
Chief Digital Officer Adnan Nasir added, “Integrating banking services into WhatsApp ensures financial access is just a message away. This milestone is part of our ongoing digital transformation journey, and we plan to expand features to further enrich the customer experience.”
