Karachi: Popular South Indian couple Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan has become controversial in announcing that they have become parents to twin boys; the Tamil Nadu government has sought an explanation from the parents regarding the birth of the children.
Nayanthara surprised her fans when she announced the birth of twin. She also shared pictures of the children on social media.
However, speculations are being made regarding the birth of children with Nayanthara that the children were born with the help of surrogacy.
Legal experts believe that the birth of children through surrogacy has been banned in India since 25 January 2022 but it is allowed in certain circumstances.
Ma. Subramanian, Minister for Health & Family Welfare of Tamil Nadu has reacted to these speculations and said that the state government will seek an explanation from Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan on this matter.
Meanwhile, there were speculations on the part of the fans about the wedding date of Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan as the couple tied the knot on June 9 June 2022.
During a press conference, when the Minister for Health & Family Welfare of Tamil Nadu asked if a couple who got married 4 months ago, can give birth to children with the help of surrogacy. Is there a time limit for this? To which he replied that the Directorate of Medical Services will investigate the matter and an answer will be sought from both of them.
On the other hand, various media reports are also claiming that twins have been born to this couple with the help of surrogacy, but these stars have not made an official announcement in this regard.
