The Punjab government has announced to conduct an inquiry against the jail officer regarding the meetings of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif with more than 2200 people while in prison.
Speaking to the media outside the Punjab Assembly Lahore, Interior Minister Punjab Hashim Dogar said that Nawaz Sharif met more than 2200 people during his imprisonment.
He said that these meetings of Nawaz Sharif took place in a period of one year, we will conduct an inquiry against the then jail officer.
Punjab Interior Minister inquired whether a poor man can make so many meetings in jail.
He said that this is the law which is different for the rich and the poor, actually Nawaz Sharif had all the facilities in the jail.
