The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has launched Version 5.0.0 of its Pak-ID Mobile App, introducing new features aimed at improving accessibility and simplifying registration services for the public.
The latest update includes an upgraded dashboard, an improved search function, and a faster process for ID card cancellation. All features are now labeled in both English and Urdu, enhancing ease of use, particularly for citizens in rural areas.
Additional upgrades allow users to track applications directly through the app’s inbox, while an online death registration facility has been rolled out in collaboration with Union Councils across selected districts. NADRA has urged citizens to download the updated app to benefit from these services.
Meanwhile, Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab announced that NADRA counters will be established in every union council to expand public access. Speaking at the inauguration of an upgraded NADRA registration center at Babar Market, Landhi, he also shared that feasibility studies are underway for a new registration facility in Lyari’s Kakri Ground, while mega centers are under development in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Gulberg, and Surjani Town.
