INDIA : A man in India has made a bizarre accusation against his wife, saying that she turns into a snake at night and has tried to bite him several times. According to a report by Hindustan Times, a man in Sitapur district of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh went to the district magistrate’s office and filed a surprising complaint that surprised everyone. The husband alleged that his wife turns into a snake at night and tries to bite him, during which she makes snake-like sounds, which he is very afraid of. This incident is from Lodhasa village in Sitapur district. The complainant has been identified as Meeraj, who filed a complaint with the district magistrate, saying that his wife Naseeman behaves strangely at night. She makes sounds like ‘sighs’ like snakes, threatens him and says that she is a serpent who has come to take revenge on him for his previous birth. Miraj says that his wife, Nasiman, is mentally unstable and acts like a snake at night. He further claimed that his wife had tried to kill him several times and had even bitten him on one occasion, and that he was suffering from severe mental anguish due to her actions. On the other hand, Meraj’s wife, Nasiman, has denied all of her husband’s allegations in a video statement, saying that her husband constantly harasses her over the dowry issue and wants to remarry. Nasiman says that he harasses her for dowry and wants her to somehow leave him on her own. She has been oppressed since marriage, and now her husband has fabricated a story and tried to put her under mental and social pressure. The district administration says that if the husband’s complaint is proven false, action will be taken against him, and if the wife is found to be suffering from a mental illness, she will be provided with medical assistance.
