Karachi: Marta Women Football Club (MWFC) delegation met with Malaysian Consul General Herman Hardynata bin Ahmed, discussed on various aspects of football game.
According to the details, the delegation of MWFC led by Patron-in-Chief Mustafa Kamal Farooqi met the Consul General at the Malaysian Consulate and said in a briefing about the Marta Club that the club was established in the year 2011 and working for the promotion of football game at grass root level in city. School and college students are encouraged to play football to avoid negative activities. Football tournaments are organized in this regard and students actively participate in it.
MWFC Founder &President Rais Khan said that from March 3 to 10 Karachi MWFC is organizing a football tournament “Super Women Football Cup” in which 8 top teams of Karachi will participate. We are trying our own to promote football in the country.
Malaysian Consul General Herman Hardynata Bin Ahmed appreciated the activities of Marta Club and said that football is the most played game in the world. We would do whatever cooperation is possible in this regard.
