Mir Raza Wafflix Owner: Karachi Entrepreneur Found Dead After Alleged Kidnapping as Police Launch Murder Investigation
Owner of a popular waffle chain was discovered dead in Gulistan-e-Jauhar days after disappearing from PECHS, with police suspecting he was tortured before being killed.

KARACHI: Wafflix Owner Kidnapping case has taken a tragic turn after a 25-year-old entrepreneur, who was allegedly abducted from PECHS Society earlier this week, was found dead in Gulistan-e-Jauhar on Wednesday, police said.
The victim, Mir Raza Ali, son of Mir Hassan Ali, was a resident of PECHS Block 2 and the owner of the Wafflix waffle dessert outlet near Bahadurabad Chowrangi. His body was recovered from bushes near Shadi Qila Wedding Hall in Gulistan-e-Jauhar Block 1 and shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for a post-mortem examination.
More than 100 words into the investigation, Karachi Kidnapping remains the focus as police suspect the victim was tortured before being shot. Authorities said the body appeared to be one to two days old and showed burn marks, making identification difficult. His father later identified him through his clothing.

Police Suspect Torture Before Killing
According to Station House Officer (SHO) Kamran Qureshi, initial evidence suggests that Mir Raza Ali was subjected to torture before being shot dead.
Police also found an injury mark on the victim’s back. Officials said the exact cause of death would be confirmed after the post-mortem report is completed.
Investigators are collecting CCTV footage from cameras installed around the wedding hall and nearby areas in an effort to identify those responsible for the alleged abduction and murder.
Victim Went Missing Outside His Home
According to the First Information Report (FIR), the victim returned home from his business during the night of July 27–28.
At around 4:00am, he informed his mother that he was stepping outside the house for about 10 minutes but never returned.
When his family attempted to contact him, his mobile phone was switched off. Relatives searched for him and contacted Madadgar 15 before registering a kidnapping case against unidentified suspects at Ferozabad Police Station on Tuesday.
Investigation Continues
Police said the investigation is ongoing, and efforts are underway to trace the suspects involved in the alleged kidnapping and murder.
The killing has sparked widespread grief on social media, with friends, customers and members of Karachi’s business community paying tribute to the young entrepreneur while calling for swift action against those responsible.
