Karachi: The students of Dow Medical College have unitedly demanded to stop war in Gaza. Led by the leadership of the final year of Dow Medical College on Friday, students from all classes of Dow Medical College, staged a protest in front of the DC Court Yard to express solidarity with Palestine. The protest also called for the collection of medicines and financial aid for the oppressed Palestinians so that medicines and aid could reach them immediately. Participants in the protest also observed a one-minute silence in solidarity with the martyrs of Palestine.
Doctors Zareena, Dr. Esha, Dr Aisha, and Dr. Abdullah Khalji led the protest. On this occasion, the students chanted slogans such as “Ceasefire now,” “Labbaik Ya Gaza,” “Labbaik Ya Aqsa,” “Gaza Gaza don’t you cry, Palestine will never die.” Addressing the gathering, Dr. Zareena urged the students to boycott all items that financially support Israel, which carries out bombings on Palestinian Muslims.
