LAHORE – The Punjab Government’s flagship doorstep service initiative, ‘Maryam Ke Dastak’, has processed more than 900,000 service requests from citizens, with over 700,000 of these already resolved successfully.
This progress was shared during a review meeting chaired by Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) Chairman Faisal Yousaf at Arfa Software Technology Park. Developed and executed by PITB, the system has seen a significant surge in public participation and efficient service delivery.
Currently, more than 137,000 requests are being processed and are expected to be completed soon. Additionally, thousands of youth have been inducted as Dastak Facilitators to ensure timely delivery of services and seamless coordination between the public and government departments.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Faisal Yousaf said, “Through the Maryam Ke Dastak program, 76 key government services are now accessible at people’s doorsteps across Punjab. Citizens no longer need to visit government offices for services such as Domicile issuance, Birth Certificates, FIR Copies, and Property-related documents.”
He further emphasized that this initiative is transforming public service delivery by saving citizens time and expenses, improving administrative efficiency, and providing real relief to the people. These services can be accessed via a call to 1202 or through the Dastak Doorstep Delivery App.
