Marenco Theater in Ceva Designated as National Monument.

Ceva, Italy: In a significant recognition of its cultural significance, the Marenco Theater in Ceva has been designated as a National Monument. The decision was made following the approval of a law by the Chamber of Deputies, which is set to be discussed in the Senate. The law stipulates that theaters “whose construction dates back at least 100 years or those whose programming is aimed at live performance activities with public financial support” can be declared as “national monuments”.Known as the “Bomboniera of Ceva” by the renowned comedian Macario, the Marenco Theater has long been cherished as a center of culture and entertainment, and holds a special place in the hearts of the people of Ceva.”We are delighted and proud of this important recognition for our Marenco Theater,” expressed Mayor Vincenzo Bezzone. “The theater has always been considered a symbol of our city, and the Administration has consistently shown great appreciation for its cultural significance.”The designation as a National Monument not only highlights the historical and architectural value of the Marenco Theater but also underscores its importance as a cultural landmark for the community of Ceva.
