Karachi: Provincial adviser and administrator of Karachi barrister Murtaza Wahab said that there are good tourist destinations in Pakistan and Iran where tourists from both countries can visit and further promote fraternal relations between two countries.
Wahab on behalf of Government of Sindh welcomes the delegation led by Iran’s Deputy Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, Aliasghar Shalbafian, while addressing in the second conference of Picturesque Iran organized by the Consulate General of Iran at the local hotel, in Karachi.
On the Occasion, Hassan Nourian, Consul General of Iran in Karachi, while explaining Iran’s tourist attractions, announced that the Consulate General of Iran is ready to provide the necessary services and consultations to travel agencies to design travel tours to Iran.
He also mentioned Iran’s visa policy and said: Iran’s visa for foreign tourists is issued completely electronically and as soon as possible.
In the second Picturesque Iran conference, Ali Asghar Shalbafian, the deputy of tourism in the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Iran, while explaining the infrastructure and tourist attractions of Iran in various fields such as nature tourism, historical tourism, medical tourism and religious tourism, asked the Pakistani travel agencies present in the event to design attractive and affordable travel tours to Iran in cooperation with Iranian travel agencies.
Naseem Al-Ghani, the Secretary of Tourism of Sindh, while addressing in the conference said that our province of Sindh has many historical and nature attractions and hope that Iranian travel agencies will start operating tours to this beautiful province.
In this conference, a delegation consisting of 20 managers of Iranian travel agencies were present and while introducing their capabilities, they got to know Pakistani travel agencies and discussed the exchange of tourists between the two countries.
In this conference, the deputy governor of Fars in tourism affairs said: Fars province, as one of the oldest provinces in Iran, in addition to historical attractions such as Persepolis and Tomb of Hafez and Saadi, has a high ability in medical tourism and is ready to accept Pakistani patients who need various types of surgery.
Director General of Tourism of Khorasan Razavi province while referring to the reception of millions of tourists in Mashhad announced: Khorasan Razavi Governorate is ready to provide high-quality and cost-effective services to Pakistani travel agencies. At the end of this conference, the Pakistani travel agencies that are most active in sending tourists to Iran were awarded certificates of appreciation by the officials present at the event.
