Recently, under the auspices of international organizations Pak-British Arts International and Maktab-e-Haidari, a mushaira was organized in the Staff Club- University of Karachi. Naheed Azmi and Sadaf Bint Izhar were its Souls.
President Pak British Arts International Saeed Ahmed, President Ladies Wing Naseem Bukhari, Coordinator Naheed Naz welcomed the poets . Nasim Bukhari said that the representation of women poets has enhanced the popularity of Mushaira further, she said that Pakistani women have made a name for themselves in poetry and are increasingly working for education and literature.
Naheed Naz Coordinator PBA said that it is a great pleasure for the poets of the country and abroad to participate in the Mushaira & Presided by Dr.Shahdab Ahsani, Fakhr-ud-Din Kefi and Aziz Saheer also participated as guest speakers.
The best wishes were Nasir Azam, Asim Azam, and Sadaf Bint Izhar. This mushaira started with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an and Naat by the Holy Prophet (PBUH). Naat Shehab Iqtidar Qadir presented. Host of Mushaira Shaheen Barlas.
Among the poets who participated in this mushaira were Naheed Azmi, Shahab Iqtidar Qadir, Salman Sarwat, Shabbir Nazish, Ahmed Jahangir, Gul Afshan, Shah Fahad, Farzana Sahab, Shaheen Barlas, Khalil Ahmed, Siddique Raz, Tanzeel ufaq included.
In the end, a dinner was given in honor of the poets, Poetess, guests & audience also. The host team of Pak-British Arts International included Saeed Ahmed, Naseem Bukhari, Naheed Naz, Zeb Tariq, and Shehab Iqtdar. This Mushaira can be included in one of the best mushairas held in the city of Karachi.
The best listeners in the poetry also praised the poets for presenting good words in this Mushaira. Sadaf Bint Izhar presented a bouquet of flowers to the famous poet Fakhr-ud-Din Kefi. While the other guest poets were presented with bouquets of fresh flowers by Maktab-E-Haideri and Pak British International Coordinator Naheed Naz. The audience remembered this Mushaira for a long time.
