KARACHI – Make-A-Wish Foundation in collaboration with PIA fulfilled the wish of MAW child Huzaifa Sikander 14 years suffering from cancer who wished to be a PIA pilot. At a ceremony at PIA Head Office Karachi, Air Marshal Arshad Malik CEO PIA decorated the wings of Pilot to the wish child wearing pilot uniform. Later the young pilot was given pilot training at flight simulator.
Air Marshal Arshad Malik appreciate the unique work of Make-A-Wish Foundation and assured his and PIA support to the foundation. Founder Make-A-Wish Pakistan Ishtiaq Baig thanked PIA for being the partner of the foundation and joined hands in granting travelling related wishes of Make-A-Wish children. The ceremony was attended by General Manager Aamir Memon, Chief Pilot Kalim Chughtai, Capt. Mohsin, and other senior officials of PIA. Make-A-Wish Pakistan is an affiliate member of MAW Int’l dedicated to grant wishes of the critically ill children.
