Majyd Aziz, Former President of Employers Federation of Pakistan, has announced that the Board of Directors of EFP has authorized him to declare that EFP is fully on board with all Chambers and Associations and supports the call for strike on 19 July. In a statement, he added that if Pakistan has to prosper and progress, then the private sector should be provided all facilities and convenience and that all government officials refrain from coming up with rules, regulations and laws that hamper the prosperity of 250 million Pakistanis. He said that all such black laws must immediately be withdrawn and no anti-business rules and laws must be allowed. He further added that there seems to be a planned conspiracy to demolish industries and commerce. He moreover said that this strike may not be for just one day but it may be prolonged till business community is assured that all such black laws have been withdrawn.
