A speech contest was organized by Kokan Help Foundation Karachi. On this occasion, students who completed memorization of Quraan( Hifz) last year were also awarded honorary shields and prizes.
Wardha Patel bagged the first position in the speech contest while the judges selected two speakers Khadija Kamran and Fatima Rizwan Bharde for the second position. Similarly, Bismah Majeed Palnak bagged the third position. In addition, all the speakers who participated in the competition were awarded prizes and shields for their encouragement.
Elders, women and families of the Kokan Community from all over the City participated in the event and appreciated the organization of such programs and hoped that similar programs would be organized by the Foundation in future also.
The participants also appreciated the services of the Kokan Foundation for the community during the program and said that holding such programs promotes healthy activities in the society.
