KARACHI – Administrator KMC Laeeq Ahmed, assured the North Karachi industrialists of his fullest cooperation, and said that providing facilities to the business community and building strong ties with them was one of his top priorities. He said this while talking to a delegation led by Faisal Moiz Khan, President, North Karachi Association of Trade & Industry (NKATI). The delegation included SV Shabbir Ismail, VP Naeem Haider, CEO North Karachi Industrial & Management Company (NKIDMC) Sadiq Muhammad and others.
Administrator Laeeq Ahmed, at the request of NKATI President Faisal Moiz Khan, to issue notification of establishment of “Capt. A Moiz Khan Fire Station” and provide staff to ensure timely relief activities in case of fire in North Karachi industrial area also assured.
He also issued directives to all hydrants including Water Board to ensure water supply to the “Capt. A Moiz Khan Fire Station” on priority basis in case of any untoward incident of fire in North Karachi Industrial Area.
On the occasion, Faisal Moiz Khan thanked for issuing notification for setting up of fire station in the industrial area and providing staff, and said that this industrial area is a model industrial zone of Karachi. Where large, medium and small industries are located, while there is a significant share in terms of exports.
NKATI president further said that the industrial community would also extend all possible cooperation with KMC to jointly contribute to the stabilization of the national economy.
