KARACHI – The Patron-in-Chief of Korangi Association of Trade & Industry (KATI) SM Muneer, President Sheikh Umer Rehan, Senior Vice President Ikram Rajput and Vice President Syed Wajid Hussain have welcomed the decision of reducing oil prices by federal government and also urged to provide relief to people an industries in electricity prices as fuel become cheaper many times since months.
Patron-in-Chief of KATI SM Muneer applauded the PM Khan for the decision and said that government made historic cut in oil prices which is very much commendable. “In the time of crisis due to Covid-19 pandemic this decision will provide fresh air to already struggling common people and businesses” he added.
President KATI Sheikh Umer Rehan said that PM Khan and his economic team should be congratulated on this tremendous move and the PM rightly mentioned that fuel prices of Pakistan are now the lowest one in South Asia. “We hope and wish that PM Imran Khan will also take measures to cut the production cost of industries and make it also the lowest in the region” he added. He said that as the fuels prices have fallen significantly low in the country and internationally this is the time to cut the prices of electricity, this could be the great relief for the people and especially for the industry of Pakistan. Sheikh Umer Rehan further said that to fight back the economic crisis of this pandemic is to provide every possible relief and relaxation to the industry, and this should be the prime focus of government for upcoming federal budget.
