KARACHI: Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) with the cooperation of administrator Korangi Sharif Khan mobilized to improve, clean and make the Korangi area clean and green. On the direction of President KATI Faraz-ur-Rehman, the responsibility of repairing the damaged vehicles of Korangi municipality was taken up, after which the cleaning work was carried out in Korangi during Eid-ul-Fitr.
On this occasion, KATI President Faraz-ur-Rehman, and Administrator Sharif Khan expressed their determination to further strengthen the working relations.
President KATI Faraz-ur-Rehman said that the members of KATI have taken the responsibility of beautifying the green belts and intersections of the industrial area and I wish that the industrial area of ??Korangi district is considered the best and ideal industrial area of ??the city. While repairing roads including infrastructure. Faraz-ur-Rehman said that KATI is determined to make the Korangian ideal area by making it clean and green. He said that we all have to take the city of Karachi on the path of development. This can only be possible when all the stakeholders jointly and individually realize their responsibilities and carry them out effectively. He requested the Sindh government to financially strengthen public service organizations so that they can perform their duties better and make public service efficient.
Faraz-ur-Rehman further said that the vehicles which KATI repaired and gave to Korangi municipality cost crores. The administrator of Korangi Municipality Muhammad Sharif Khan contacted KATI President so that the vehicles can be made active and used in the improvement of the area. President Faraz-ur-Rehman immediately undertook the repair work and made the vehicles usable in a short period. He said that the maintenance of the vehicles will benefit the people of Korangi district and on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, the said vehicles performed the cleaning duties of the area well and will be helpful in the upcoming rains.
President KATI said that it is a matter of pride for us that as representatives of the business and industrial community of Korangi district took part and joined this charity.
Faraz-ur-Rehman further said that by planting trees in Korangi, global warming and temperature can be controlled to some extent and due to other similar measures, the underground water level can also be raised.
In the meeting, Korangi Administrator Muhammad Sharif Khan said that he is grateful to KATI President and his team for their sincere cooperation with Korangi municipality in the restoration of disabled vehicles.
