Kate Middleton returned to the The Championships, Wimbledon on Thursday, making a stylish appearance at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in a bright blue tailored suit.
The Catherine, Princess of Wales wore a matching blue blazer and trousers with a white top. She completed the look with sapphire and lapis jewellery, including her sapphire and diamond engagement ring.
Despite the warm weather in the United Kingdom, the princess greeted fans with a smile as she arrived. She also met volunteers who help manage ticket checks and welcome visitors during the tournament.
Wimbledon Fashion: Tradition and Elegant Style Remain Centre Court
Middleton spent time with the Honorary Stewards of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club. The volunteers assist with entrance procedures and help organise the annual Grand Slam event.
The Princess of Wales also met children from the Shine Camera Club. The organisation supports young people from disadvantaged backgrounds by helping them develop photography skills and confidence.
After completing her engagements, Middleton took her seat in the stands to watch the day’s tennis matches.
Wimbledon remains one of the princess’s most regular public appearances. She has attended the tournament almost every year since 2011 and became patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in 2016, succeeding Elizabeth II.
Her appearance came shortly after completing the Three Peaks Challenge, an initiative that raised funds for cancer research and treatment.
