KARACHI – Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) Patron-in-Chief SM Muneer and President Saleem-uz-Zaman have said in a joint statement that justice should be provided to the affectees of Nasla Tower, Alladin Park Shopkeepers and Pavilion End Club.
They said that the residents of Nasla Tower, the traders of demolished shops in Alladin Park and the majority of the people of the Pavilion End Club belong to the middle class and their lifetime earnings are at stake.
They appealed to the Chief Justice of Pakistan and the esteemed judges and other concerned Authorities to reconsider the verdict while treating the sufferings of the oppressed people with humane sympathy.
They said that the affectees, while fulfilling their responsibility, completed all the legal procedures and got the place but expelling them from their place is a matter of great concern.
The demolished shops adjacent to Alladin Park has left a large number of traders unemployed and other affectees bankrupt.
They demanded of the government to alleviate the plight of 200 affected families of Nasla Tower, 400 shops of Alladin Park and members of Pavilion End Club.
