KARACHI – Junaid Khan– the musician turned actor has undoubtedly proven to us that he is one of the most versatile actors of our industry and now Junaid Khan is playing the lead role in the latest drama alongside Ayeza Khan and Momal Sheikh.
The drama serial will be directed by Syed Wajahat Hussain and Junaid Khan spoke about it to the media, “There are 4 characters in this story who are at a level of intellect with one another. The role I have is of a middle-class emotional guy, who is very loving, sincere and has the most understanding with one of the female characters (not naming who she is).”
“The reason I have chosen to work on this drama is to create awareness on a social issue that is widely practiced in our society; which is tying up people in half-bond relation which requires getting them done through Nikkah and then hold off Ruhksati; which actually results in misunderstandings among the couple resulting in broken relationships.”; further explains Khan.
Junaid khan, who started off his career in media industry, has collected critics acclaim for his versatility in singing and acting skills. Some of his hit drama serials include Ishq Tamasha, Silsilay, Khasara, Yeh Mera Deewanapan Hai and his recent drama “Hania”- which already has the audience in astonishment after only teasers of the serials, with his all new antagonist role.
